Sometimes we’re asked “what will Heidi be able to do in the future?” Well, some doctors and google searches will tell you all the things she won’t ever do. However, Heidi, like so many of her t18 friends, is able to do many of the things we heard she wouldn’t. 💪 She knows her parents, she laughs and smiles, she communicates, and she understands much more than I ever thought she would. And today she got a gate-trainer! What!?!? 😲
I’ve officially learned not to limit what Heidi, or any other trisomy kid, can do. It’s amazing! 🙌“ So, to answer the question of what she’ll be able to do, I’d have to say “Anything.” It might take longer and a lot more effort but this kiddo can do anything. Matthew 19:26
