We didn’t know our son had Down Syndrome until the day he was born, when the doctor placed him in my chest they stood quiet and rushed over to my file, all I remember was falling in love, in love with his moon little eyes! After about 5 minutes they told us they had suspicions of DS and he was going to get a few test, I remember feeling calm and promised he was going to be accepted no matter what! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After 7 days in the NICU Gio finally came home. He’s changed our life’s in so many ways and my family and I can’t imagine our lives without him! He brings so much joy and laughter to us and everyone he meets. He loves to sing, dance, dress up and give tons of hugs and kisses! I can’t wait to see what his future has in store for him!
