I am a single mother (divorced) who had Cashen through IVF. He is my light and the best thing that happened to this world. He makes the people around him happier. He is the sweetest most lovable child. I fell into getting my masters and spending my career as a special education teacher, I believe all as preparation for my life as Cashen’s mother. I’d love to share our story from the start when I was told he had a heart on the wrong side at my 20 week anatomy ultrasound to now here he goes to horseback riding therapy, a special school, adaptive swim lessons and music therapy classes. He started walking recently and has started to use a sign for drink and bath on occasion! He is a mighty guy this one! Let me knew if you need more of a story officially written out!
