We were asked in one of our DS [Down syndrome] groups to share one of our favorite photos of our littles…. This was our first meeting and the moment I thought I saw that Ami had Down syndrome. So many emotions captured in this photo. We get asked a lot if I wish I had found out about Ami’s diagnosis before and I believe the way things happened were so perfect. I know me and I don’t think I could have enjoyed my pregnancy or delivery the way I did if I had known she was going to have Down syndrome… Not because of her having Down syndrome but because of all the fears and the worries most have when they have a prenatal diagnosis. I don’t think I would have been able to labor and have the beautiful water Birth I had. Her Birth was perfect as is she. Such a precious moment ♥️
