When Megan and Josh’s son Edison was born, they both noticed some abnormalities, including syndactyly, immediately. Megan and Josh met with a pediatrician, who then sent Edison to a children’s hospital, where Apert syndrome was confirmed. Edison was later diagnosed with hydrocephalus.
Mindy was pregnant with her and Chris’ fourth child when she went in for a routine ultrasound and found out there were many complications. Their baby, Camden, had signs of Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus, and Club Foot in both feet, as well as Mindy having a placenta previa. Mindy and Chris saw a high-risk doctor that reiterated several times that they had until Mindy was 26 weeks along to abort the baby.
